اچانک میری بیٹھک کا جالی والا دروازہ خود ہی کھل گیا یہ دیکھتے ہی میں فوراً بیٹھک سے نکل کر اپنے کمرے کی طرف بھاگا اس دوران مجھے محسوس ہو رہا تھا کہ کوئی میرے پیچھے آرہا ہے میں جلدی سے اپنے کمرے میں پہنچا اور بستر پر لیٹ کر خود کو کمبل میں چھپا لیا اس دوران میں بری طرح ڈرا ہوا تھا کیونکہ مجھے سمجھ ہی نہیں آرہا تھا یہ سب کیا ہو رہا ہے ۔اس وقت طرح طرح کے خیالات میرے دماغ میں آرہے تھے کہ اتنے میں اچانک مجھے کمرے کا دروازہ کھلنے کی آواز سنائی دی اور ساتھ ہی ہلکی ہلکی غراہٹ بھی سنائی دینے لگی جسے سنتے ہی میں نے خود کو کمبل میں ایسے سمیٹ لیا کہ جیسے اگر میں کمبل سے باہر جاؤں گا تو مارا جاؤں گا اس دوران میرے سانسیں بھی کانپتی ہوئی چل رہیں تھیں میرا پورا جسم پسینے سے بھیگ چکا تھا کیونکہ اس وقت کوئی میرے بیڈ کے پاس آکر عجیب طریقے سے سانس لے رہا تھا پھر آہستہ آہستہ سے کسی نے میرے پیروں والی سائیڈ سے کمبل کو چھیڑا تو میری جان ہی نکلنی شروع ہو گئی میں نے خود کو اس طرح سمیٹ لیا کہ میرا چہرہ میں نے اپنے گھٹنوں میں چھپا لیا انتے میں میرے سر والی سائیڈ سے کسی نے کمبل کو چھیڑنے کی کوشش کی تو میں نے چیخنا چاہا لیکن میری آواز نہیں نکل رہی تھی تو مجھے پکا یقین ہو گیا تھا کہ آج میں نہیں بچنے والا یہ جو بھی چیز ہے یہ مجھے نہیں چھوڑے گی اس دوران غراہٹ کی آواز بالکل صاف سنائی دے رہی تھی اتنے میں بیڈ کے نیچے کوئی ہلچل ہونے لگی ایسا لگ رہا تھا کہ کوئی بیڈ کے نیچے چھپا ہوا ہے ۔ یہ سوچتے ہوئے میں نے منہ میں ہی کلمہ پڑھنا شروع کر دیا اس دوران کبھی کمرے میں کسی چیز کے گرنے کی آواز آتی تو کبھی کوئی بھاگتا ہوا کمرے سے باہر جاتا اور پھر سے بھاگ کر میرے بیڈ کے پاس آکر غرانے لگتا ایسا کافی دیر تک چلتا رہا لیکن میں کلمہ پڑھتا رہا۔ تحریر دیمی ولف۔ اتنے میں اچانک اذان کی آواز سنائی دی اسی وقت کسی چیز کے خوفناک طریقے سے چیخنے کی آواز آئی اس کے ساتھ ہی اچانک میرے کمرے کے دروازے کے جھٹ سے بند ہونے کی آواز سنائی دی
