وقت ریت کی مانند ہاتھوں سے گزر گیا تھا .مگر کراچی میں دسمبر کی شامیں اب بھی پہلے جیسی ہی تھیں . سرد ،ٹھنڈی ،اداس ،ہواؤں والی . اس نے کھڑکی کا پردہ ہٹایا تو تیز چلتی ہوئی ہوا کمرے میں داخل ہوئی . تازگی کا احساس
اس نے گردن باہر نکالی باہر ہلکی ہلکی بارش ہورہی تھی . ہلکی بارش سے سردی کی شدت مزید بڑھ گئی . وہ چند لمحے یوں ہی کھڑی رہی اور تھوڑی دیر بعد کھڑکی پہلے کی طرح بند کر دی . زلفه اور اس کی قدرت سے محبت آج بھی زندہ تھی
دفتاً ہی اس کا فون بجا . وہ فون اٹھانے بیڈ کے ساتھ رکھی سائیڈ ٹیبل تک آئی . اس نے فون اٹھا کر کان سے لگایا اور سائیڈ ٹیبل پر رکھی ٢ سال پرانی تصویر اٹھا کر صاف کرنے لگی . سرخ جوڑے میں ملبوس زلفه یاسع کے برابر میں کھڑی تھی وہ ان دونوں کی رخصتی کی تصویر تھی . زلفه کی یونیورسٹی ختم ہونے کے فوراً بعد ہی گھر والوں کی رضامندی سے زلفه اور یاسع کی رخصتی کر دی گئی تھی
شادی کے بعد زلفه اور یاسع کا تعلّق کچھ خاص اچھا نہیں تھا . زبردستی کے رشتے زیادہ نہیں چلتے . یاسع کے ریسٹورانٹ اب بڑھ کر ہوٹلز میں تبدیل ہوگئے تھے جس کے با عث وہ زیادہ تر گلگت اور سکھر میں ہی رہتا اور مہینے میں ایک دو بار کراچی آ جاتا . البتہ اس کے کراچی کے ریسٹورانٹ زلفه اپنی فارمیسی کی جاب کے ساتھ سنبھالتی تھی . دادی اس کے لیے اچھا سوچ کر گئیں تھیں . مگر افسوس جیسا سوچتے ہیں ویسا کبھی نہیں ہوتا .
