ابے یار ، وہ سامنے دیکھ وہ بیٹھا تمہاری طرف ہی دیکھ رہا ہے ، تمہیں اُس سے بات کرنی چاہیے ، زہیر ہاتھ سے سامنے کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ہوئے کہنے لگا ۔
سامنے ہی ایک کتا گیٹ کے پاس بیٹھا اُنہیں ہی دیکھ رہا تھا ۔
کھبیس انسان وہ کتا ہے اور تو ہم سب کو کیوں کتا بنا رہا ہے ، ایہم اُس کی طرف دیکھ کر غصے سے کہنے لگا ۔
یار میں کیوں تم لوگوں کو کتا کہوں گا ، تم لوگ تو میرے دوست ہو ، وہ تو بس وہ کتا روحان کی طرف دیکھ رہا تھا ، اِس لیے مجھے لگا کہ شاید وہ اِس سے بات کرنا چاہتا ہے ، وہ مُنہ بناتے ہوئے بولا ۔
ویسے ایک بات وہ کتا ہے کیوٹ چلو آؤ اُس سے مل کر آتے ہیں ، ایہم کتے کی طرف دیکھ کر بولا ۔
ہاں چلو ، وہ تینوں کتے کے پاس جا کر کھڑے ہو گئے ۔
ہیلو کتا جی ! کیا حال ہے ؟ روحان اُس سے بات کرنے لگا جیسے وہ واقعی اُس کا دوست ہو ۔
ابے او پاگل انسان وہ کتا اور تو اُسے اتنی عزت دے رہا ہے جیسے وہ تیری بیوی ہو ، ایہم کو اُس کا یوں کتے کو اتنی عزت دینا اچھا نہیں لگا تھا ۔
ہائے اللہ! میں کیوں اِس کو اپنی بیوی بناؤں گا میں بیوی تو کوئی آسمان سے پری اُترے گی ۔
روحان اُس کی بات سُن کر تڑپتے ہوئے بولا ۔
کہیں چُڑیل ہی نہ اُتر آئے تمہارے لیے عرش سے ، زہیر آنکھیں گُھماتے ہوئے بولا ۔
یہ تو دیوار پر چڑھ کر کیوں بیٹھ گیا ہے اور یہ پتھر کیوں ہاتھ میں پکڑا ہے ، ایہم اُس کو دیوار پر بیٹھے دیکھ کر پوچھنے لگا ۔
