میراثِ محبت تحریر ثانیہ کنول، ایک انتہائی خوبصورت، جذباتی اور دل کو چھو لینے والی اردو رومینٹک داستان ہے۔ یہ ناول محبت، صبر، انتظار اور رشتوں کے تقدس کے گرد گھومتا ہے۔ کہانی کا آغاز اسلام آباد کی پرسکون فضاؤں میں شاہ ولا کے پررونق اور محبت بھرے ماحول سے ہوتا ہے، جہاں ایک طرف خاندانی محبت، مزاح اور شائستگی ہے تو دوسری طرف برسوں پر محیط محبت کی تڑپ اور انتظار کا احساس ہے۔
ناول کی مرکزی ہیروئن “مہرماہ (مہرو)” ایک شوخ، معصوم اور جذباتی لڑکی ہے جو اپنے گھر والوں کی لاڈلی ہے۔ اس کی زندگی کا سب سے بڑا موڑ اس کے کزن اور بچپن کی محبت “ارباز” سے اس کا نکاح اور پھر ان کا سامنا ہے۔ ارباز ایک باوقار اور محب مزاج شخص ہے جو سالوں تک دور رہنے کے باوجود اپنے دل میں مہرو کی محبت کو زندہ رکھتا ہے۔
