“پورے گاؤں میں خبر پھیل گئی تھی کہ مہندی کی دلہن میں جن آگیا ہے جو چاہتا ہے اسکا نکاح رحاب سے نہیں یارم سے کیا جائے شاید حویلی کا جن بھی حویلی کے مقینوں کی طرح مزاخیہ تھا جس نے تمام لوگوں سے ڈانس کروایا تھا اپنے پسندیدہ گانے پر اور اب مولوی صاحب کو نکاح کروانے کی دھمکی دے رہا تھا اگر یارم سے نکاح نہ کروایا تو وہ انکی ڈارھی کاٹ دے گا۔”
وہ سب پریشان سے بڑی بھیٹک کے باہر دروازے سے کان لگائے کھڑے تھے کیونکہ اندر جنگِ عظیم سوم کی ڈسکشن یعنی کہ بہت ہی زیادہ اہم فیصلہ ہو رہا تھا۔۔
“وریشا تم سنو نا کیا کہ رہے ہیں داجی۔۔” شام نے اسکو دیکھتے التجا کی تھی۔۔
“میں کیسے سنوں۔۔تم لوگوں کے ساتھ ہی تو کھڑی ہوں۔۔” وہ حیرانی سے پوچھنے لگی۔۔
“تمہارے کان لمبے ہیں نہ دور دور کی آوازیں سن لیتے ہیں آج انکو کسی کام بھی لاؤ۔۔” وہ تپا دینے والی مسکراہٹ لیے بولتا اسکو آگ لگا چکا تھا۔۔
“یو چیپ۔۔۔” وہ اسکو گھورتی بولی
“ہاں میں چیپ ہوں۔۔”شام نے بڑے فخر سے اسے دیکھتے کہا تو وریشا نے اسکے بال پکڑے تھے اور وہ بےچارہ اپنا ہئیر سٹائل خراب ہونے پر بلبلاتا اسکے بال پکڑ چکا تھا۔۔
وہ دونوں لڑتے ہوئے بھیٹھک کے دروازے سے لگے باقی لوگوں سے ٹکڑایے تھے اور اگلے ہی لمحے ٹھا کی آواز سے دروازہ کھلا اور وہ سب دھڑام سے اندر گرے تھے۔۔
